Baseball Blanked at Bryant

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Host Bryant University used a nine-run fifth inning en route to a 15-0 Northeast-10 baseball victory over Southern New Hampshire University Thursday afternoon. The Bulldogs improved to 14-10 overall and 4-1 in NE-10 play, while the Penmen are 2-11 and 0-5 in the league.
Tim Rines (Northfield, NH) and Bill Murray (Beverly, MA) each had a pair of hits for Southern New Hampshire, which was outhit 18-7.
Southern New Hampshire returns to action Saturday when it travels to Pace University for a noontime doubleheader.
