Delanoy, Dindler Named USILA Scholar All-Americans

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Seniors John Delanoy (Lansdale, PA) and Chris Dindler (Stephney, Austraila) of the Southern New Hampshire University men’s lacrosse team have been named 2008 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-Americans, it was announced recently.  Seniors from USILA-member institutions in Division I, II and III are eligible for the award.

Delanoy is an Economics/Finance major carrying a 3.40 grade-point average.  He is a two-time member of the Northeast-10 All-Academic Team and was SNHU’s Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2006-07.  This season, the preseason All-American ranked third on the Penmen with 17 goals and 20 assists for 37 points, good enough to earn him Second Team Northeast-10 All-Conference accolades, the third time Delanoy has been named All-Conference.  He was also a three-time All-New England selection.

Dindler is also an Economics/Finance major and sports a 3.54 GPA.  Over his four-year career he was named to the NE-10 All-Academic Team three times.  Dindler recently wrapped up his four-year career with Southern New Hampshire, serving as a tri-captain this season along with Delanoy.  In 12 games this season Dindler recorded 10 goals and six assists for 16 points, while over his career he recorded 40 goals and 20 assists for 60 points.  Dindler was named All-New England in 2007 and 2008.
