"Experience the Wonder of Art through a Child Artist," an exhibition of artist Victoria Yin paintings, will run in Southern New Hampshire University's Pantano Gallery through August.

Yin, a 10-year-old from Boston, demonstrated her extraordinary abilities at a young age, painting large watercolor animal life and landscapes and writing poems. Yin also is a pianist, runner, a martial art artist, naturist, and a math and science lover. At the age of 9, she was named the Gifted Child for the State of Massachusetts by the National Association for Gifted Education.

Yin's preferred medium is acrylic on canvas. She is able to create amazing and complex figurative art on canvas with no pre-sketching.

The Pantano Gallery is located in Southern New Hampshire University's Shapiro Library and is open Mondays through Thursday from 8 a.m. to midnight, Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon to midnight.
