IMPORTANT COURSE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

CORE COURSE
Note the MDI-SA begins with a two day Core Course on Monday November 16 and Tuesday November 17 that all participants will attend.

FOUR KNOWLEDGE TRACKS

You may select and register for ONE of the following Knowledge Tracks for Wednesday November 18 to Saturday November 21,

Track One: Microfinance Essential Skills
Wednesday, November 18, 2009 – Saturday, November 21, 2009 8hrs30- 17hrs00

Track Two: Risk Management for Microfinance and Enterprise Development Organizations
Wednesday, November 18, 2009 – Saturday, November 21, 2009 8hrs30- 17hrs00 

Track Three:  New Tools for Research, Monitoring and Evaluation
Wednesday, November 18, 2009 – Saturday, November 21, 2009 8hrs30- 17hrs00

Track Four: Sustainable Enterprise Development
Wednesday, November 18, 2009 – Friday, November 20, 2009 8hrs30- 17hrs00

Registration Information

 Full Tuition and Room and Board Costs  Fee
Single Dormitory Room   R10,000
Shared Dormitory Room   R7,500
Commuter  Fee R5,000 

The tuition cost includes all books, reading materials, cd's, and field trips but does NOT include Airport transportation. Please see the Accommodations page for more details about the fees.

Registration Instructions
Registration to the MDI – Southern Africa is done online.  Please complete the Registration Questionairre at this link
Once you have completed the questionairre we will review it and if you meet the MDI-SA registration qualifications we will send you the full application.

Daily Class Schedule
Classes are held from 8hrs30- 17hrs00.

Payments
If you are paying within South Africa, Namibia or Zimbabwe you may make your payments directly to Thembani International Guarantgee Fund. If you are paying from any other location Southern New Hampshire University will accept payment via check, credit cards or wire transfers. Payments in full must be received within 10 days of receipt of your application. No cash payments will be accepted at the institute. Please see the Payments section of the full application.

Refund Policy
If you cannot attend the Institute, you may request a refund in writing. Requests received before October 20, 2009 will be refunded in full, less a $100 processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancellation received after that date.
