Shapiro Library Welcomes Steve Robichaud

Shapiro Library would like to welcome Steve Robichaud as our new Technical Services Librarian. 

In 2004, Steve received his Master of Library and Information Science from Simmons College in Boston while working at Fitchburg State College.  Most recently, he was the Monographs Cataloger at Clemson University in South Carolina.  While there, he worked with electronic and print theses and chaired the Technical Services Section of the South Carolina Library Association.  Steve was also a board member of the Palmetto Archives, Libraries and Museums Council on Preservation. 

As the Technical Services Librarian, Steve will be responsible for the management, evaluation, and implementation of efficient work flows, policies, and procedures for the department including acquisitions, cataloging, processing, theses and dissertations processing, participation in collection development, gifts, and government documents.
