Community Economic Development Principles and Practices– Taking a global to local view of how communities have been victims of social and economic exclusion and what we can do to take back power and our destinies. The Core Module will blend theory and practice and provide a framework for the Institute courses.

Tools for Participatory Local Economic Development (Wednesday and Thursday)
Reclaiming your Community through Participatory Rapid Appraisal - Includes field assignment (Friday and Saturday)

Track Four: Sustainable Enterprise Development – Three Days
 Current Issues in Southern African Enterprise Development (Wednesday and Thursday)
 Practitioner and Donor Summit on Sustainable Enterprise Development in Southern Africa (Friday)
