Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will visit Southern New Hampshire University as one of her three stops in the state Tuesday.

She'll make two appearances on behalf of Democratic presidential candidate and her former rival for the nomination, Barack Obama.

Doors open at 2 p.m. for the 2:45 p.m. event at the Southern New Hampshire University's Athletics & Recreation Complex.

Tickets are not required, though people are urged to RSVP at www.nh.barackobama.com.

Details about an event in the Salem/Pelham area will be released later by the Obama campaign.

Clinton also will campaign Tuesday for former Gov. Jeanne Shaheen, who is in a rematch with Republican John E. Sununu for the U.S. Senate seat he now holds.

Clinton will discuss the changes she says are needed in Washington at a "Rally for a New Direction" with Shaheen in Dover. The event will be held at the McConnell Center's Butterfield Gym at 61 Locust St. at 1:30 p.m.

This will be Clinton's first visit to New Hampshire since June, when she appeared with Obama in Unity.
