Author Sabiha Al Khemir: Readings from 'The Blue Manuscript'

Southern New Hampshire University will host author Dr. Sabiha Al Khemir on Saturday, Nov.  1, at Robert Frost Hall's McIninch Art Gallery.  Al Khemir will read excerpts from her new novel "The Blue Manuscript." The event starts at 2 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

As an artist and a writer from Tunisia,  Al Khemir has lectured worldwide on Islamic art and Islamic culture. She obtained her M.A. and Ph.D in Islamic art history and archeology from London University. She has taught Islamic art in the British Museum in London and has published several publications on Islamic art and fiction that includes "Waiting in the Future for the Past to Come" (1993), The Absent Mirror" (2005) and "The Blue Manuscript (2008), in addition to several other publications.
