SNHU finished out the season with a record of 13-2-3 and 9-1-3 in Northeast-10 play. The Penmen claimed a share of the NE-10 regular season title and have been ranked in the top five nationally among Division II schools for the past five weeks. The Greyhounds are making their first Northeast-10 Tournament appearance since 2001 and ended the season 6-6-5 overall and 5-4-4 in the league. SNHU posted a 3-0 win over Assumption during the regular season in a game at Larkin Field.

Should SNHU advance, it will face the winner of Sunday's quarterfinal between No. 3 Franklin Pierce and sixth-seeded Southern Connecticut on Wednesday, also at home. The NE-10 Championship game is set for Saturday, Nov. 8, at the highest remaining seed.
