Young's 'Splash' at Pantano Gallery

"Splash," a display of artist Suzanne Young paintings, will run in Southern New Hampshire University's Pantano Gallery from Oct. 31 through Jan. 2.

Young, a graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, has taught children, adolescents, and adults and has directed her own studio for many years. She has studied under many artists of note, including David Curtis, Rover Cormier and Mary Lou Schlemm.

 Young's paintings show land- and seascapes as well as portraits. She enjoys painting the New England coast, the flowers of Florida, New Mexico's desert and the mountainous coastline of California. 

The Pantano Gallery is located in Southern New Hampshire University's Shapiro Library and is open Mondays through Thursday from 8 a.m. to midnight, Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon to midnight.
