The primary focus of this course is to explore the transformation of Eastern and Central European economies as they move from centrally planned economic systems toward market-driven (private enterprise) systems. Attention is given to the opportunities and difficulties that foreign investors are likely to encounter if they chose to establish operations in these emerging market locations. Offered as needed.
