Art by Sitaji at SNHU Pantano Gallery

Manchester N.H. (Jan. 13, 2009) – “Art by Sitaji,” an exhibition of artist Sitaji’s paintings, will run in Southern New Hampshire University’s Pantano Gallery through March 2.

Sitaji’s mediums include acrylic on canvas, watercolor, oils and charcoal. Her paintings reflect her feelings and the beauty of nature.

“I would describe my style of painting as expressive,” she said. “Through the process of painting, I am able to express my emotional nature.”

A self-described artist and healer born with a highly sensitive intuition, Sitaji said she posses the ability to create paintings filled with energy that she can transmit to others.

“If you feel an attraction to any one piece it’s indicative of profound healing experience taking place,” she said.

Sitaji holds a B.A. in art history with a fine arts minor from Douglass College/Rutgers University. She is a member of the New Hampshire Art Association and also attended Spirit Art in Sedona, Ariz., where she studied intuitive/psychic paintings.

The Pantano Gallery is located in Southern New Hampshire University’s Shapiro Library and is open Monday through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to midnight, Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon to midnight. Please call the university’s Shapiro Library at 603.645.9605 for gallery information.
