Employed at Shapiro Library since 1977, Carol West has played a key role in the addition and growth of technology at Shapiro Library. She is currently responsible for the management and evaluation of the library electronic databases and e-books, the maintenance of the library web pages, and the coordination of library technology. Carol provides reference assistance to students and faculty in person, via e-mail and telephone and gives class presentations in information literacy.
