Maxine Kumin, visiting writer, to discuss her work


Former U.S. Poet Laureate and winner of a Pulitzer Prize, Maxine Kumin, will read from and discuss her work Thursday, April 9th, beginning at 5 p.m. in Walker Auditorium. -- book signing and reception to follow. The event is free and open to the public.

  "What an enormous honor it is for our creative writing students and for our university to have someone of such renowned talent, esteem, and grace, and with such a high caliber of accomplishments visit our campus,” says Director of Creative Writing Program Diane Les Becquets. “We are truly looking forward to the event."

Kumin will also teach a poetry workshop for SNHU students.
