Paying Your SNHU Bill

The One Stop is the place for all of your financial aid, billing and administrative student needs. The One Stop partners with students and families to identify, educate, and award the best resources available so you can focus on experiencing a dynamic and exciting SNHU education.
To learn more about different payment options, select your program from the options below:

Full Time Day Students

Federal Student Direct Loans: To apply for Federal Direct Loans, please complete a FAFSA application by visiting fafsa.ed.gov. This free application will allow us to determine your eligibility for federal Stafford loans.  All first-time borrowers of federal financial aid must complete an electronic Master Promissory Note and Entrance Loan Counseling. Both requirements can be completed at studentloans.gov, and must be done in order for loans to disburse.
Semester Balance in Full: Balance is paid to Southern New Hampshire University (ex: cash, check, credit card, approved Parent PLUS loan, other  a private student loan or any combination that pays the net semester's balance in full).
Monthly Payment Option: Monthly Payment arrangements can be set-up with Tuition Management Services (TMS - located at www.afford.com/snhu).  Monthly payments allow you to space out interest-free payments. A small enrollment fee applies.

Perkins Loan: Through the summer, Perkins Loan recipients receive notification emails directing them to complete a Perkins Loan Master Promissory Note.

Payment Due Dates: Payment of the net balance due must be received in the One Stop by August 1st. Spring tuition is due by January 1st. Outstanding balances are subject to finance charges of 18 percent per annum.

Health Insurance Waiver Form: All U.S. undergraduate day students are enrolled automatically in a health care plan managed by the university.  To waive this charge, submit a health insurance waiver form to One Stop by August 1st.

COCE Students

A small enrollment fee applies. Undergraduate students are not eligible for a monthly payment plan.

Deferred Tuition Plan: Students who receive tuition benefits from their employer may qualify for a Deferred Tuition Plan. Participating students may carry over a one-term outstanding balance, allowing access to registration for the next term, and your account will also not accrue an interest charge. Eligibility is based on the completion  of all required paperwork and by maintain good financial and academic standing.

Payment Due Dates: For first time students who are paying out of pocket, payment is due at the time of registration. For all other returning students paying out of pocket, payment is due by the first day of the term.
