Southern New Hampshire Community Band
The Southern New Hampshire Community Band is a free community music organization open to university students, faculty and staff; adult musicians from the greater Manchester community; local music teachers; and motivated high school players.
The Southern New Hampshire Community Band performs works by Grainger, Holst, Boysen and Mahr, as well as other standard wind band repertoire. SNHU students may receive three credits for every two semesters of participation.
College credit is available for high school students at the greatly reduced rate of $75 for three credits earned over two semesters.
The Southern New Hampshire Community Band is recruiting new members.
No audition is required and participation is free.
If possible, musicians should bring their own music stands to rehearsal.
