Southern New Hampshire Community Band

SNHUband

The 100+ member Southern New Hampshire Community Band is made up of about 1/3 students, 1/3 local music teachers and 1/3 other community members.

The SNHC Band has recently performed Johan de Meij’s “Lord of the Rings”, Alfred Reed’s “Othello”, David Maslanka’s “Symphony No. 4” as well as lighter selections such as “Star Wars” and “Sleigh Ride”.

No audition is required for admission into the ensemble.  Auditions may be used to select lead players or soloists.  Participation is free. If you are interested in joining the SNHC Band, please contact Rick Cook at r.cook@snhu.edu.

If possible, musicians should bring their own music stand to rehearsal.
