PEP Annual Timeline
April 2009 - May 2009
- Information Sessions held and applications accepted.
Application deadline: April 10th - Review of Applications
- Applicants participate in interview process
- Participants (10-12) selected for 2009-10
- Mentors (10-12) selected for 2009-10
- Participants attend an opening meeting and receive details on program, retreat schedule, and summer assignment.
June 2009 - July 2009
- Participants work on summer assignments.
Late July 2009 - August 2009
- Participants engage in 3 day/2 night retreat (July 29-31), at which they are challenged to reflect on their professional goals and receive brief readings.
- Mentors join the Participants for one day of the retreat at which they learn about and discuss successful mentoring practices, their role in the program and begin to work with their Participant on their focus plan
September 2009 - April 2010
- Program moves into active phase, with a kick-off dinner with President LeBlanc.
- Campus begins monthly SNHU Speakers Series. PEPrs attend dinner following each presentation with the featured Speaker.
- Monthly breakfast series, at which Presenters share new skills
- Monthly lunches with their Mentors
- Periodic interaction with the Executive Council for Participants and Spouses/Partners
- Evaluation of PEP, via interviews and feedback forms with Participants, Mentors and Supervisors. Evaluation will occur each semester.
April 2010 - May 2010
- Mentors, Participants and Presenters selected for 2010-11
June 2010
- Cycle begins again, with 2010-11 class of Participants
- Current class graduates
