The Dorothy S. Rogers Career Development Center is seeking applicants for a graduate assistant position.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • assisting with the development, updates and maintenance of the CDC web pages’ content and programming
  • creating, disseminating and analyzing surveys
  • assisting with marketing CDC services to students, faculty, alumni and businesses
  • researching resources to identify employers of interest and assisting with employer correspondence
  • maintaining and updating the SNHU Recruit (e-recruiting) database
  • working closely with CDC team to assist with special projects as needed

Applicants must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and be willing and able to learn new programs including MS Access, Publisher, SNHU Recruit, RedDot, and/or Qualtrix. Experience in and/or an understanding of social networking (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Plaxo, etc.) is strongly desired.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and be accepted into the Master’s program at SNHU. The position requires adherence to maintaining strict confidentiality, knowledge of SNHU academic policies and procedures, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability and willingness to learn new technology, strong work ethic and self-motivation. The graduate assistant will act as a role model to student workers and must have good organizational, leadership and communication skills.
