Manchester, N.H. (July 8, 2009) – Southern New Hampshire University was named in seven categories in the recently completed “2009 Great Colleges to Work For” survey conducted by The Chronicle of Higher Education. SNHU was also recognizd last year as a 2008 Great College to Work For.
The survey results were based on responses from more than 41,000 employees on 247 campuses.
SNHU was recognized in the “Medium Colleges” category for Overall Satisfaction with Benefits, Compensation and Benefits, Health Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Vacation and Paid Time, and Disability Insurance and Life Insurance.
“Recognition in this manner reflects the stellar work of our Human Resources and Development staff and the larger overarching commitment of the university to its people,” said SNHU President Paul LeBlanc. “We don’t make widgets, we don’t have assembly lines, and we don’t invest in raw materials. We invest in our faculty and staff and they, in turn, give back in myriad ways.”
