'New England Seasons' at SNHU Pantano Gallery
Manchester, N.H. (Jan. 08, 2010) – "New England Seasons," an exhibition of artist Barbara A. Busenbark’s paintings, will run in Southern New Hampshire University’s Pantano Gallery through Feb. 27.
A resident of Peterborough, Busenbark’s favorite mediums include oil and watercolor. She prefers watercolor for floral paintings to depict more details, and oil for landscape paintings. Most of her collection is devoted to New England landscapes.
“The icing on the cake for the New England artist is the changing of the seasons - a different pallet every few months," she said.
She is currently working on a series of paintings of the White Mountains.
Barbara Busenbark is a juried member of the Oil Painters of America. She is a former vice president of the Monadnock Area Artists Association at Keene and is a member of the board of directors.
