International Students Job Search Resources

Where do you start looking for a job in the United States?
Resources are provided for international students so you can start your job search process in the United States. Job search links are provided below, but please visit the Career Development Center (CDC) in Chocorua to obtain more resources. Do not forget to consider career and internship fairs, networking with people you know, and SNHU Recruit.

H1VisaJobs.com is a website that contains a list of employers who have recently filed the appropriate paperwork to sponsor an international person for an H1B visa. The site gives you access to 10 databases for majors in:  Administration, Business, Education, Computer Science, Languages, Life and Health, Math and Physical Science, Medicine, and Other. This website may help you find companies that are willing to hire graduates seeking OPT and/or H1B work opportunities. This is not a list of available jobs. It is a starting point for your job search.  H1VisaJobs.com contains thousands of American firms, all over the US. There is no guarantee that the company will attempt to sponsor again, nor is it guaranteed that there will be a job opportunity at that particular company in the future.

To gain access to this database, students must email the CDC requesting a password and also establish that they are a registered student or alumni of Southern New Hampshire University.  Send email requests to careerdevelopment@snhu.edu. Please include your full name, Student ID number, and current class status (e.g. freshman, graduate, alumni).
