Inquiry Classes

Admissions/Academic Records Inquiry – 30-40 minutes
  • Covers the basics of viewing the student application, including the degree program at the time of admission, viewing external transcripts, transfer credits and non-course work awarded.
  • Covers the basics of obtaining or viewing student information, including degree program, advisor names, restrictions, transcripts, grades, and student remarks.
  • Offered once a month. Academic Records Inquiry and Admissions Inquiry are also available online in Blackboard as two separate classes.

Accounts Receivable/Cash Receipt Inquiry – 30 minutes

  • Covers general student account information, including payments made, balances owed, checking financial aid awards, viewing registration charges and printing a student account history.
  • Offered once a month; also available online in Blackboard

Campus Organizations Inquiry – 20 minutes

  • Covers general viewing of campus organizations, including how to view organizations students belong to, what their role and standing is, and who advises the organization.
  • Offered together with Residence Life
  • Offered once a month. Campus Organizations Inquiry is also available online in Blackboard as a separate class.

Curriculum Inquiry – 30 minutes

  • Covers general viewing of various course sections in the system, the section status (open/closed), and the number of enrollments in each section.
  • Offered once a month; also available online in Blackboard

Faculty Inquiry – 20 minutes

  • Covers general viewing of faculty information, what they are teaching, what courses they are approved for, and general background data.
  • Offered once a month; also available online in Blackboard

Registration Inquiry – 30 minutes

  • Covers general registration information, including viewing or printing student schedules, determining course status, viewing or printing class rosters, and in some cases printing basic enrollment reports.
  • Offered once a month; also available online in Blackboard

Residence Life Inquiry – 20 minutes

  • Covers the basics of residence life information, including where students are located, how to retrieve student dormitory phone numbers, viewing the type of meal plans assigned, and how to determine who the students are rooming with.
