Your mental health can impact your academic work and your overall satisfaction with college life. It is important to be aware of this when things are out of balance. Sometimes you know things aren’t quite right but you aren’t sure what is happening.
The Wellness Center welcomes all SNHU students to utilize an online screening which might help pinpoint when there is a problem. This free screening is completely anonymous.
Screenings are available for:
- Depression / Bipolar Disorder ("Manic-Depression")
- Alcohol Disorders
- Eating Disorders
- Anxiety/Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
At the end of each anonymous screening you will receive an immediate result. This site is intended to be a resource, not a definitive diagnostic tool, but it can help you learn if your symptoms are consistent with those indicating a more significant problem relating to mood, addiction or anxiety and provide information on how to access help.
This program is designed for individuals aged 17 and above. The online screening is completely anonymous. We do not collect any unique identifying information such as name, email address or IP address. Neither SNHU nor the Screening for Mental Health organization can view your individual results.
Please remember that this online program is not intended as a substitute for a professional evaluation. It is intended as an aid to help you learn about parts of yourself and to identify whether you might want to seek further assistance.
