The Masters in Elementary Education with Special Education program includes a 16-week full-time, supervised practicum in an elementary school, including an eight-week program under the supervision of a certified special education teacher. With inclusive classrooms on the rise, you can increase your marketability with a Masters in Elementary Education with Special Education. The added credential will allow you to teach in an inclusive elementary school classroom or resource room.

NH State Certification - Elementary Education and Special Education

If you are pursuing your M.Ed. in Elementary Education or are already certified as an elementary school teacher,  you may take Masters in Special Education courses to earn Special Education licensure. This degree program at SNHU meets all N.H. state requirements for certification as an Elementary School Teacher and General Special Education Teacher.
