Getting Started for Military

Ready to apply, but not sure what the process looks like?

Benefits and Tuition Discounts for Military Personnel and Spouses

  • As a military-friendly school, SNHU provides up to a 30% discount for active-duty servicemembers and their spouses working toward an online degree. We also accept Tuition Assistance (TA), Post-9/11 GI Bill® and Montgomery GI Bill benefits.
  • For those interested in a full-time, on campus experience, SNHU is proud to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, a provision of the new Post-9/11 GI Bill that is meant to bridge the gap between these benefits and SNHU's on-campus tuition and fees.

Dedicated Military Support

  • Military life can get hectic, so we believe it's critical to pair our online military students and spouses with a dedicated Military Advisor. Our Military Advisors understand what it means to serve and have had the experience to help balance the demands of earning a degree with all the challenges that military life can bring.
  • SNHU worked with military students, Veterans Affairs and organizations in the Manchester, NH, community to create a space where veterans and servicemembers meet, study and relax. The DeColfmacker Veterans Lounge has room to study and socialize, with a television, movies, gaming consoles and complimentary refreshments.
  • The Veterans Lounge is also a resource for benefits and services available to student veterans at SNHU's Manchester campus. Representatives from the Career Development Center and a Military Advisor have regularly scheduled office hours in the Lounge.
