On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) FAQs
On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) is a program that enables employers, local as well as nationwide, the opportunity to come to Southern New Hampshire University to recruit current seniors, graduate students and alumni during the fall and spring semesters.
Students who are seniors, graduate students or alumni(us) from SNHU are eligible to participate in OCR. You must first activate your account on SNHU Recruit prior to posting your resume.
We strongly encourage you to research the companies you may be interested in on the web before signing up for an interview.
You will be contacted by the employer, by e-mail, through SNHU Recruit if you are accepted or declined to interview. Once accepted, you may sign up for your interview time slot once the schedule is made available.
If you are selected to interview with a particular company that is sponsoring an Information Session, you must attend. All students are encouraged to attend any company Information Session. Dates and times of these sessions are listed in SNHU Recruit.
Any student not able to attend their interview must call the Career office as soon as they are aware of the situation. Any student who does not call or show up for an interview may jeopardize their participation in the OCR program.
All international students should check the "Special Instruction" area on the sign-up sheets. This will tell if you must be a United States citizen and any other qualifications the company may require. There are companies that do not sponsor international students here on visas.
