Special Opportunities in the School of Education

Our undergraduates are placed in a classroom in their very first year with us. Some are in classrooms, some work with local elementary, middle or high schools in their tutoring programs and others in community-based early childhood programs.

Students can get involved in the Manchester area’s early learning consortium while earning a master’s degree in child development. As a program participant, you will have the chance to work with students and their families, as well as the Manchester School District, the Visiting Nurse Association and many other community-based organizations. Together with them, you can focus on everyone’s common goal of preparing young students for future educational success. As you can see, our graduate students can look forward to extremely rewarding (intense, but rewarding!) field placements as well.
