Survey Research Methods covering the quantitativeýsurvey process with broad applications to CEDýtheory, policy, assessment and applied research.ýContent includes project design and sampling,ýconcept operationalization and questionýformulation, instrument design, piloting andýpre-testing survey instruments, interviewerýtraining, manual and computer coding/editing, dataýprocessing, sources of error and ways ofýminimizing error, survey program management,ýethics working with human subjects, IRBs,ýreporting survey research results. A parallelýCED-802 Lab in Nonparametric Statistics/SPSSýand survey analysis is required.ýPrerequisite: CED-801.
