Advanced applied regression models with anýemphasis on cross-sectional analysis and theýapplication of multiple regression to problems inýCED policy and practice. Students will learn toýcarry out regression analysis using SPSS as wellýas critically evaluate published regressionýstudies. Topics include constraints of regressionýmodels; underlying assumptions and theýconsequences of their violation; practical andýpolicy implications of quantitative estimation;ýmodel building, multiple & partial correlations,ýmultiple regression models, autocorrelations,ýforecasting and time series analysis.ýPrerequisite: CED801 and CED802 Statistics Labs.
