To receive health services at the university's Wellness Center, you must be a full time student enrolled at the university who has submitted a complete medical history and physical examination form (PDF 36 kb) prior to admission. All students health records are confidential). If you are an international student, you cannot complete registration without these documents, a chest x-ray report and evidence of immunization against measles, mumps and rubella. Failure to produce this information will result in additional expenses and medical treatment upon your arrival for school registration.
Any problem the nurses cannot handle is referred to the university physician or another appropriate practitioner. Charges for health services in the community are usually sent directly to students.
All domestic students will be charged for the insurance plan offered by the University, until you can show proof of other medical insurance. All foreign students are required to carry the institution's plan. The Bursar's Office handles all questions pertaining to billing and enrollment in the plan. Health Services staff are available to assist you in processing claims covered by the plan.
