Reason for choosing SNHU: The FEELING! I know it sounds odd, but the overall feeling you get when you visit this place is wonderful! The entire package (whether it be size, location or the incredible faculty & staff) everything came together to create the perfect fit.

Favorite thing about 3Year: After spending a semester studying Civil Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, I decided to switch my major to business administration. SNHU had a great reputation for their competitive business programs, so I decided to take a closer look. During my visit I met with Dr. Bradley (a faculty member and co-founder of the program), who listed the endless opportunities of the program. I was immediately hooked!

Current Occupation: Currently, I am working as an Admission Counselor for SNHU as the 3Year Honors Program Coordinator while pursuing my Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership (Graduating in 2005). My plan is to gain employment with a private high school in New England as a college counselor, in hopes of gaining enough college counseling experience to open up my own educational consulting firm one day.

How has the three year program helped you? The competencies that I have learned within the 3Year program have tremendously helped me in the workforce. I have successfully mastered 13 competencies that will help me in ANY field I choose to pursue. The most important skill that I have gained from the 3Year program is the ability to problem solve - the faculty challenged us to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX! Although this may sound fundamental, it is the most important skill set that I have. All too often, students are taught that there is only one right answer. If all the answers could be found in a textbook, who would need to hire an individual with a degree?
