Apply: Freshman Admission
You can apply anytime, but we recommend that you apply;
- Before March 15 for fall admission
- Before Dec. 1 for spring
- Freshman applicants can apply under the early action plan; apply before Nov. 15 (for the fall), and you’ll get an admission decision by Dec. 15.

1. Complete and submit the application (including the essay):
- Apply Online.
- or complete a paper copy (PDF 80 kb) & send it with the $40 fee to the address on the application.
- or, if you already have one, you can apply using the Common Application.
2. Submit the following documents to the director of admission:
- Your official high school transcript (or GED)
- SAT or ACT scores (with writing). Our code is 3649.
- Two letters of recommendation from teachers or one letter from your guidance counselor (recommendation forms are available as part of the online application). Guidance Counselors can print out the Counselor Report form. (PDF 43kb)
- An additional writing sample (creative writing majors)
- An additional essay, if you’re applying to the Honors Program
- The SNHU Common Application Supplement (PDF 66 kb) (if applying with a paper Common Application)
