Citations

Citations will be issued for violations of these regulations. Except for Fire Road, Fire Hydrant Obstruction, Handicapped Parking and Bus Stop violation (see below), the following fines apply:

First Offense - $10;
Second Offense and Subsequent Offenses - $15

Handicapped, Fire Lane, Bus Stop and Obstructing a Fire Hydrant parking violations carry a $50 fine or tow or both with no warning given. The first offense warning does not apply to any vehicle found on a fire lane or blocking a fire gate or obstructing a fire hydrant, parked in or near a designated tow zone area, a chained or gated area or a handicapped parking area or Bus Stop. These vehicles are subject to immediate towing without warning and with no search for the driver.

Owners/operators are responsible for prompt payment of any fines to the Bursar's Office.

If you accumulate $250 in motor vehicle parking fines (whether paid or not) during an academic year, you will be relegated to parking in Lot #5 only, if you have an "W" decal you must turn it in for an "F" decal. If you have an "E" decal you are restricted to lot #19. Should you accumulate $350 in motor vehicles fines during one academic year, your on campus driving and parking privileges will be revoked for the remainder of the academic year, or at least two months extending into the next academic period in attendance.
