This course will develop the student'sýunderstanding of what forensic accounting andýfraud examination is and how it pertains to bothýcivil and criminal matters. The student will gainýa basic understanding of the characteristics ofýfraud, fraud prevention and detection,ýinvestigative techniques, asset recovery, and theýuse of information technology in this interestingýand growing profession.
