This fourth course in the Graduate Certificateýwill provide guidance and knowledge for conductingýinvestigations via machine. The skills of theýparticipant in this course will be stengthened inýsuch areas as identification of the types ofýpublic records available to investigate; how toýaccess the public records through databases;ýnavigation of the Internet to find usefulýmaterial; the use of fraud-related softwareýpackages to detect and investigate possibleýfraudulent activities; and the use of dataýanalysis programs and spreadsheets to detectýfraud.
