The IRS mission, which is to provide America'sýtaxpayers top quality service by helping themýunderstand and meet their responsibilities asýwell as by applying the tax law with integrityýand fairness to all, will be followed in thisýcourse. The course will entail becoming certified,ýby the IRS to work as a volunteer, setting upýthe Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program siteýand then marketing the site to the general public.ýThe certification includes passing an IRS test.ýThe program would include you in the 93 millionýAmericans who each year helps to make our worldýa better place to live by volunteering. Thisýcourse will not entail the preparation of anyýcomplicated income tax returns, as such it doesýnot require any prior extensive tax knowledge.
