The Office of Training & Organizational Development is here to serve your learning and workplace needs in a variety of ways.   Here are some of the ways in which we can offer you support:

¦ Professional Development: There are many ways we can assist with your professional development.  This may come in the form of sponsoring campus-wide workshops, securing outside presenters, partnering with other internal departments in addressing training needs or customizing a workshop to meet the needs of your specific department or group.

¦ T&OD Library:  Looking to learn more on a particular topic?  Missed a recent workshop and wonder if we have an audio or video copy?  Looking for ideas for a workshop exercise, ice breaker or training tips?  The Office of Training & Organizational Development maintains a library of readings, audiotapes, taped workshops and training assistance materials on a variety of topics.   Contact our office to find out what current holdings we have to offer and how you can borrow these materials for your personal or professional use.

¦ Instructional Design Assistance: Wish to sponsor a workshop for campus faculty and staff but don’t know how to get started?  We can assist you with design and evaluation components or some of your logistical needs, including centralized registration.

¦ Team Facilitation:  Looking for an outsider to guide your discussion?  Hoping to further strengthen your team?   We are available to assist as a facilitator or guide.

¦ Workplace Improvement Initiatives:  Do people end up blamed for what is a systems issue?  Do you have the sense that your office could be working more efficiently than it currently does?   Let us help you identify ways to streamline work processes or manage projects differently.
