Updates - July 2007

Application Tidbits

The criteria for when to do the “move to student” process is the receipt of a registration. Until an applicant registers for class, they should not be moved to student. Not following this procedure results in incorrect statistical reporting for applicants and students.

Please remember that every application needs to have the Start Term, Academic Program, Location, Anticipated Completion Date, Student Type, and Application Status fields completed.

“Moved to Student” is the final status for an application. Changes should not be made to the application status field on an application after it has been moved to student. Changes made on other fields on the application do not update on the student’s record after an application has been moved to student and should be made on SPRO.

CWO-UG for Graduate Students

If you have a graduate student taking undergraduate courses to satisfy prerequisite requirements, the student does need to have a CWO-UG program created on SPRO so the undergraduate classes do not appear on the graduate transcript. However, please do not add a student type of CE for these students.

Initiator Lookups (Financials)

Due to updates to Colleague, the initiator lookup (;IN) on financials forms has changed. Rather than entering your name after the ;IN you now need to use your Colleague ID number in order to see all of the requisitions you have created.
