Full-time - Compliance Coordinator
This full-time 12 month position will ensure compliance with NCAA and Northeast-10 (NE-10) Conference rules in all areas of college athletics including, but not limited to: certification of eligibility for new student-athletes and continuing eligibility for returning and transfer student-athletes; oversight of recruiting; coordinating transfer releases and permission to contact duties; playing/practice seasons; financial aid; monitoring team and individual scholarships amounts; new legislation and rules interpretations; APP data collection; filing of NCAA forms; overseeing camps and clinics; National Letter of Intent (NLI) program; and educating staff, student-athletes, alumni and boosters of NCAA regulations. This position will also be the on campus administrator for the NCAA Compliance software, Compliance Assistant Internet (CAi), and also must be current with the NCAA Legislative Database Internet (LSDBi). This position may include work on weekends and holidays. Days and hours will vary depending upon the event/athletic contest schedule.
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license. A master’s degree is preferred. In addition, two to four years of experience in NCAA Compliance at a University, Conference or the NCAA National Office is desired. Candidates must possess strong organizational and leadership skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
