Plagiarism Detection
Detecting plagiarized work as it occurs is a powerful deterent to future incidences of plagiarism. One common approach is to use web search engines, such as Google, to see if the text in a paper matches text in another web site. This can be an extremely time consuming process. Turnitin, a software product available to all SNHU faculty, automates this process of comparing papers to other electronic sources.
