Plagiarism Response

If you encounter plagiarism it is important that you address it promptly. The SNHU Academic Honesty policy describes what to do in the event of plagiarism within the classroom. A copy is located in the course catalogs. Review the policy. It notes that in the event of plagiarism, faculty has the authority to issue a failing grade for the assignment and/or the course. Students may appeal that decision. If you have any questions as to what steps to take, contact your center director or dean.
