Full-time - Assistant Event Planner


Reporting to the Conference and Event Services Manager, the Assistant Event Planner will  fulfill the role of assisting in the planning of meetings, events, summer conferences and student/faculty activities that occur on campus.  This individual will be responsible for administrative functions related to events, which include assembling contracts and invoices for outside vendors.  Will develop an understanding of the University Master Calendar and will be able to uphold responsibilities which include: editing of the calendar, assuring that all information regarding events are filtered to the appropriate calendar and adhere to all Branding regulations. 

The successful candidate will possess an associate’s degree coupled with 2-4 years relevant experience or equivalent education and experience, the ability to multi-task, and demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills.
