Psychology Student Association

The purpose of this organization is to aid in the personal growth of the individual and to present new opportunities within the field of Psychology, to value the role of individual concerns and opinions to better the organization, to encourage future study and interest in the field of Social Science at Southern New Hampshire University, and to establish relations with the Southern New Hampshire University and the outside community by volunteering our time to help those in need.

Members of PSA have a lot of fun in promoting the field of psychology.  We hold many events throughout the year, such as speakers on different fields within the social sciences, career days, end of the year social gatherings and other events as well.  We volunteer within the community and also travel out of the community to attend New England’s annual NEPA (New England Psychological Association) conference.  We are always looking for creative minds to help us be as active within SNHU and the community as we can be.

Past events:
- Hosted the New England Psychological Association’s annual conference in 2006
- Brought in Zoe Peterson from the Kinsey Institute of Sex Research in 2007
- Hosted an art therapy table at the SNHU Art Festival in 2007
