Database Management

Welcome to Database Management! Our main function is to monitor database systems in order to maintain the consistency and integrity of the information, and the database as a whole.

In addition, we provide training and user support, research and test new screens or functions, maintain database related documentation, implement new features to the system and generally see to all Colleague related issues or problems.

Who Does What?

Monique:

  • Handles all technical research
  • Ensures data integrity through reports and additional research
  • Currently handles Communications Management concerns
  • Oversees day to day operations of the DBM office

Pam:

  • Coordinates all student and financial systems training
  • Develops documentation for student and financial systems
  • Develops the bimonthly newsletter, Updates
  • Provides primary support for student system related questions
  • Develops training classes for online use in Blackboard

Sharen:

  • Issues and terminates Colleague IDs
  • Assigns and develops security classes
  • Merges duplicate institution records
  • Maintains high school and college information
  • Provides primary support for financial system related questions

Josee:

  • Handles all address and phone number changes for Colleague and Razor's Edge
  • Monitors address and phone number data entry to ensure that users follow data standards
  • Merges duplicate student records

Where Are We?

The Database Management offices and training lab are in Exeter Hall which is located directly behind the Student Center. Database Management is in Exeter 103 across the hall from the Payroll Office.
