impressed with the approachability of her professors
Accounting major Venetia Peters feels pretty secure in her job search. The Manchester Center student, who expects to graduate in December, has been taking advantage of the Career Development Office’s assistance.
“I met with a counselor, who reviewed my resume, hosted job fairs and seminars and told me about networking events,” she says. “SNHU not only gives you the support while you are earning your degree, but that support continues in helping you find a job and career with that degree.”
The supportive environment doesn’t end at the CDO’s doors -- Venetia’s also been impressed with the approachability of her professors.
“They give out their e-mail addresses and home phone numbers,” she says. “That definitely takes the fear out of asking questions.”
