Shannon Hutchins
- Student; On Campus
His motivation led him to SNHU, where Shannon got involved with the SNHU and Manchester communities. As a resident assistant, he made new friends quickly.
“I love interacting with people,” he says.
He also works as a logistic coordinator for the School of Community Economic Development and is meeting people from all over the world. He enjoys picking up the new students at the airport and being their first point of contact.
“I want to make sure they have a positive experience at SNHU,” he says. “I value my conversations with the folks I meet. I love hearing about the different aspects of cultures.”
This love leads him to value the lessons learned in class and the interaction among students in different fields. Shannon will take what he learns from his classes and apply it to his future.
“It is important to make a profit, but not at the expense of one’s own people,” he says. “It is important to me to work for a socially responsible company and one that is comprised of good ethics.”
While pursuing a Global M.B.A, M.S. in organizational leadership and a certificate in operations management, Shannon still finds the time to get involved with the community. He enjoys coaching football at a local high school.
“There’s nothing better in the world then football,” says Shannon. “I get to share my experiences, teach and watch them progress. It is a joy.”
