Full-time - Master Electrician
Southern New Hampshire University is seeking an experienced Master Electrician to work
full time within the Facilities Management Department. Under the direction of both the
Assistant Director and Director of Facilities Management, the Master Electrician is
responsible to perform skilled work in the installation, alteration, maintenance and repairs of
electrical systems, equipment, fixtures, and to work on high voltage. The master electrician
may supervise seasonal employees as well as student workers, oversee contractors, and
interact heavily with all trades personnel as well as the project manager. The position is
required to participate in snow removal operations, as well as in other maintenance
capacities.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED and Minimum of 5 years in all
phases of residential/ commercial electrical work. An ability to climb ladders, to lift at least
100lbs, to work in inclement weather, to possess a valid NH driver’s license and a Master
Electrician’s License are also required.
