On July 19, nearly 40 Southern New Hampshire University College of Online and Continuing Education staff members—including senior leadership, military-related academic and career advisors, and marketing staff—came together in support of the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program at its 5th Annual Run to Home Base at Fenway Park. Twenty-five SNHU runners and walkers completed a 9K course, which finished inside the historic baseball stadium at home base, while other SNHU volunteers cheered on participants and captured the event through social media.
The first program of its kind in our country, the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program provides clinical care and support services to Iraq and Afghanistan servicemembers, veterans and families throughout New England, who are affected by deployment or combat-related stress or traumatic brain injury.
SNHU Military was a proud sponsor of this event. View additional photos from the event.
Summer is here and that - hopefully - means a few more free hours to use catching up on some reading. We asked people across SNHU what they're reading this summer and what they recommend.
