Students study total quality management (TQM), which is crucial to efficient resource allocation and effective human resource management. Major factors affecting quality and strategies for effective total quality management are covered through the use of contemporary texts, reading, cases, exercises and simulations. This course examines leadership as an inter-personal and intra-organizational phenomenon with an emphasis on student leadership development. It includes leadership assessment, leadership development, the leadership process, the contagious nature of leadership, leadership and productivity, motivation, and effective leadership styles and theories.
