Admission Requirements for the
Master’s in Communication

Please submit the following:

  • Statement of Purpose: A 500-word essay that addresses your interest in the communication field and defends a position on the impact that technology has had, and will continue to have, on the field.
  • A professionally written writing sample from your field or previous educational studies (i.e. editorial story, press release, research paper, communication plan, etc).  Sample must be 2-5 pages, double-spaced, with citations as needed. Analysis, research, technical writing and business writing are also acceptable.
